During the months of September, October, and November the sky is clear and the temperature is also warm during the days. A drive of around 4 hours via Godavari will take you to Dadeldhura situated at an elevation of 2,000 meters. The famous Ugratara temple and historical places like Amargadhi Fort and Alital are the major tourist attractions in Dadeldhura. The place offers breathtaking views of the Api and Saipal mountains as well as surrounding hills. The second day of the drive will take you to Jadang situated at an elevation of 3,827 meters above sea level. It is also the trek starting point. Shaileshwori Temple dedicated to Shiva and Parvati is the main highlight of this place. You will take a drive to reach Dhangadi and a flight back to Kathmandu from Dhangadhi. Badimalika Temple Every year, on the occasion of Janai Purnima and Ganga Dashara, the temple gets a large number of visitors. Mardi Himal Trekking Preparing for the Trek Before setting off on my Mardi Himal adventure, I made sure to do thorough research and preparation. From selecting the right gear to getting necessary permits, every detail mattered. Trust me; you don’t want to forget those sturdy hiking boots or your trusty rain jacket! Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara The journey began with an exhilarating flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, where the anticipation for the trek ahead filled the air. As we soared above the clouds, I couldn’t help but marvel at the breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks peeking through the mist. Day 2: Pokhara to Deurali With excitement bubbling in my veins, we embarked on the first leg of our trek, heading from Pokhara to Deurali. The trail meandered through lush forests, quaint villages, and terraced farmlands, offering glimpses into the local way of life. Days 3–5: Trekking to High Camp The next few days were a whirlwind of adventure as we steadily ascended towards High Camp. Each step brought us closer to the towering peaks of the Annapurna range, with jaw-dropping vistas unfolding at every turn. The camaraderie among fellow trekkers and the warmth of the local tea houses made the journey even more memorable. Summit Day: Reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp As the sun rose on summit day, we set out for the final push to Mardi Himal Base Camp. Standing in the shadow of the mighty Himalayas, I felt a profound connection to nature and a deep sense of gratitude for this unforgettable experience. Dudhpokhari is among the most beautiful destination of the world where tourist has hardly ever trekked. Peoples outside Nepal rarely know Dudhpokhari; those who heard about Dudhpokhari surely do not know about this place and its beauty. Dudhpokhari that means milky pond is claimed to be situated at an altitude of 4560 meteres above the sea level. Dudh Pokhari rich in Culture, Nature, and has a good geographical importance and other attractions like snow peaked mountain and natural beauties. Khaling Rais who have their own language are dominant class of this area; besides Gurung communities are also in existence. According to legends, some three thousand years ago the Tamu community now knows as Gurung entered this area through Namun Bhanjyang from Tibet & settled there. Tamu community has their own king in the ancient days whose palace can be seen until now; therefore, this place is also known as Tamuwan. Stay overnight at tented camp at Ghermu. 11 Day Walk to Khudi.
