Nar Phu Valley Trek Kang La Pass Trek is located in restricted areas of Nepal which are rich in cultural and natural beauty. Nar Phu Valley Trek has been open to foreigners since 2003 with special permits and criteria. However, trekkers must join a legal trekking company to get a Nar Phu Valley Trekking Permit. Nar Phu Valley is one of the most untouched and beautiful regions in Nepal. Nar Phu Valley Trek is one of the best destinations in the Nepal Himalayas for those seeking a glimpse into a region of raw beauty and Tibetan culture. The Nar Phu Valley is inhabited by Tibetan refugees, where you can get a real experience of the Tibetan people and culture. After driving from Kathmandu, we start the Nar Phu Kang La Pass Trek from Dharapani. From Dharapani to Koto, we follow the route of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. During the Nar Phu Valley Trek, we cross several high passes, picturesque villages, ancient monasteries, and narrow canyons to reach remote Nar and Phu villages near Tibet. After visiting the Nar Phu Valley, you will be rejoining the Annapurna Circuit Trails in Manang Village. We continue our trek ahead to Throng-La Pass (5416m), passing through Yak Kharka and Thorong Phedi. After crossing one of the highest passes (Thorong La Pass), you will reach Muktinath. Muktinath is a common pilgrimage site for Hindu and Buddhist people. From Muktinath, we take a shared Jeep to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara. Our trek ends in Pokhara because most of the trekkers want to spend a few extra days in Pokhara after the trek. But on request, we can arrange the trip to Kathmandu from Pokhara as well.
